RAM MOUNT GB#2 for Second Gen Tacoma 05-15 CLOSED GB#2

GB #2 closed. Parts are complete and ready to ship if you like a set PM me only have about 10-15 sets left! After this i wont be doing a GB for this for a while once i am out ClOSED sold out!

I am creating this thread to see if there is enough interest to have the fallowing parts made for Mounting Phones, tablets and other in-cab Accessories. For 2Gen Tacoma. I found a local machine shop in my area that can make these parts. Seems to be some still interested in this that missed out so starting round 2.

The originator of this part has been MIA and the website selling these parts no longer exists. Only reason why i am doing this is to get a set of these Mounts for myself and passing it along to those still interested in this mount. Last we herd from him was Dec 2019 if the original guy comes back offering these again i have no problem going back/closing this down. I have a background in Aerospace and Manufacturing. some of the files and drawings where left up for those who wanted to make their own via by hand or printing with plastic. I have created my own file from the thread.


Figured i spear head this to get one batch made since i don't want to wait any longer! With any production part the more you order the better the price. That being said we need 30 people in order to make these parts. Maybe less if we get close enough.

So here are the details:

SOLD in pairs
Parts will be made out of 6061-T6 aluminum
Black Anodize like before.
Countersunk on both sides to Make them universal.
part is threaded for 1/4-20 attachments along the curve (1" Ball mount NOT included) see post for Amazon link.
Back plate
10-32 screws for mounting.
lead time from the Machine shop is 2-3 weeks( will update once i know current lead times)

PRICING: 1 PAIR SHIPPED lower 48 WITH mounting hardware Black Anodized $75.00 (all parts sold!)

For anyone outside the US send me a PM for shipping costs. I found a cheaper way to ship this after GB#1 so this is roughly 15.00 bucks but send me a PM for exact amount.

How about a price shipped without the anodizing?

Also, if you have the drawings, I'd like to get a copy if you are willing to share. I have a mill and a lathe in my shop.

The Machine Shop can do Clear anodizing he noted. ill ask if he can do both for the same price. and if there is any change in price for no anodizing raw aluminum.

ill shot the Shop a email in the morning! good question for the sake of keeping these as low cost, but close to the originals as possible depending what the machine shop says i am going to limit the options to Black or Bare. and well see what they say and ill update the post once i have more info.

Price for Raw aluminum is 65.00 Shipped a little less then anodizing. After talking with the Shop i am only going to offer black and raw aluminum as options keeping it simple as possible.

if you want to make your own since you have tools most of us wish we could have they are in the other thread.

I hope you get the 40 people I've got one of these and it's really awesome.

Not sure if you asked them to also make the backing plate but if not it would be a good idea. Without the backing plate it'll be pretty difficult to get everything assembled properly.
