    Hey guys!

I’ve been lurking on this site since I bought Brandy back in 2012.

    (Origin of Brandy):

For years I just window shopped things I wanted to add on the truck. Well after 8.5 years, I finally dipped into the savings and started buying things.

Over the next week I should be adding everything I’ve bought for her(so far).

Don’t get too excited, she’ll be modest.

As she sits today, 8.5 years and 96.3k miles later (09/03/2020):

Notice the fading plasti-dip I did 6 years ago.

    Additions so far:

    Toyota Trucks sun shade (@Level7Taco)

    Smittybilt Smart Cover

Brandy got her new shoes today. Still stock height.

Tires are from Discount Tire thanks to Doug, the rep on TW.

    Milestar Patagonia M/T
    265/75R16
    E-Rated

    Wheels are from Toyota:
    TRD Beadlock Graphite 16x7.5

I did not install the outer ring, or the “beauty ring” as the Discount Tire guys call it.

    Lugnuts are from eBay:
Gorilla spline, acorn 12x1.5 Chrome Red

She is sitting stock height right now and I have no rub whether it be at full lock or in reverse. Even took it on sharp turns.

Noise wise, I actually did not notice any difference between these and the Cooper Discoverer ATPs they replaced.

    09/05/2020

Spent most of the day with the pain in the ass that is removing the headlights.

The first headlight took me forever since I didn’t know how to unseat it properly and take it out and what wire or bulb I was taking and leaving. Once I figured that out, the second headlight was a breeze.

    The headlights are from CarID:

Spec-D Matte Black LED DRL Bar Projector Headlights

    The grille is from eBay:

EAG LED grille in ABS Grey

the stock grey one is really light in the stock photos, but in person it is pretty close to MGM. All I did was add a gloss clear coat. It’s also $40 cheaper than the ABS black. So if you have a MGM Tacoma save yourself some money and buy the grey one.

The letters I bought from a vendor who is not in good standing with TW and I found out why. Won’t even mention his name.

The letters are painted Barcelona Red and I put them on using double sided clear gorilla tape. Then a layer of high temp gorilla glue. Then a final layer of Goop.

    ECCD38A2-35CD-4414-838C-730D355836BC.jpg

As of right now she’s still sitting at stock height.

Haven’t been able to get much done with a baby. This is all I could get to before nap time was over.

    One AMI Demon Bracket(Amazon)
    One Rough Country D-Ring(eBay)

Didn’t end up installing the other due to not wanting to remove the actual recover hook.

Gives it a snaggle tooth look.

    82F4A8E6-79D6-4F0C-B8B5-CF80401989DE.jpg

There was a gap between the AMI bracket and the D-Ring but that was fixed with some battery washers I had laying around.

    Finally posting pics.

Brandi was leveled out on 09/23/2020.

I have Bilstein 5100s set at .85 and 3rd gen TRD Off-Road coils for a total of 1.85” of lift.

    No lift in the back.

I also had the ECGS bushing installed.

JBA UCAs were also installed because I know when the 5100s give out I’ll most likely add more lift.

Lamin-x amber covers were put on, they look terrible and wrinkly up close but from far away you can’t tell .

I also installed Spyder Euro style LED tail lights.

    Looks Good!

I'd love to give you a suggestion on replacing plastic dip. I've been using this specific flat black spray paint on all my front grills among other things with fantastic results. Good Luck on all your mods!
