Clutch clevis sub assembly

So ever since brand new I have had a squeak coming from depressing the clutch pedal. I brought it up numerous times with Toyota, and the service tec said to put grease on it. I have done that for the past 5 years.


Last week the tip of the clevis broke where the pedal pushes on it.

I contacted toyota canada about it. They want to see it, despite sending pictures and a video of the problem.

So if your pedal squeaks, don't let the fuckrs in the service dept tell you to "just grease it"

Have them replace it under the TSB. This happened to my truck on the highway with our baby in the truck, rendering it non drivable.


Fuck you Toyota for putting my family in danger and cheaping out.. FUCK you

Yep. I already have the TSB's and parts lists. Toyota Canada won't warranty it unless they see it. They won't even let me bring them the broken part. Has to be on the truck. Truck has to be at Toyota. Truck is not safely drive able. So, as with every other thing wrong with my truck. I just fixed it

 

Sometimes it is just cheaper to fix things yourself when there cheap

Even though I am only about 12 miles from the dealer the logistics of getting a vehicle there and going back and fourth Get expensive and time consuming

 

I think this may have happened to my truck.
I have a lot of play

 

I could not find any clutch info in the pdf unless I missed it.
I looked twice! Lol
Another set if eyes could help

Just an update

The master underneath the pedal went bad. The actual rod inside snapped. I bought a new part and the updated part now has a metal housing.
