Houston - Group Rides, Meets & Events

I am Creating this thread dedicated to other Toyota enthusiasts in search local Group Rides, OHV Meets and Events in Houston and the Surrounding Areas. Here Both Individuals & Organizations will be able to post information about their planned events.

This is NOT a BS thread, and I expect all comments between TW members to be within TW guidelines and at no time should one member disrespect another.

Local and Long distance trips allowed. Please post all events at least 24-48 hrs prior to start time. RSVP not required but recommended.


All event info should be presented in the following format for best results

Host Name: (Name of Individual or Organization)

Event Type: (Ex. Group Ride, Fund Raiser, Meet, Shop Day, Overnight Camp, Etc.)

Expected Trail Level: 1-5 (Trail rides only) .

1. Relatively easy to navigate. In optimum weather conditions, some trails may not require continual use of four-wheel drive (2WD Accessible)
   
2. Moderately demanding. Challenge for novice drivers. Obstacles may include: mud holes, boulders, and streams. (Requires 4WD with 4-LO)
   
3. Demanding. Challenge for most skill levels. Mud holes get deeper, boulders get larger, and climbs get steeper. (Requires 4WD with 4-LO)
   
4. Very demanding. Likelihood of getting stuck is high. Mud holes may be deep and rock climbing is more arduous. Lifts and lockers are helpful. (Requires 4WD with 4-LO)
5. Extremely demanding. Reserved for the toughest of off-road rigs and buggies. Lockers and 37" or bigger tires. (Requires 4WD with 4-LO)

[Please do not attend rides with an expected trail rating higher then your vehicles capabilities, as it will only restrict the rest of the group]

Hey everyone.
I am the one that “runs” HTX Toyotas for the ones that didn’t know. So if you need anything got questions just let me know.

We are having a meet on January 26th 12-3pm all the info is in the fly (picture attached) all Toyotas are welcomed to this event. We will have patches and decals available at the meet. Plus Toyota, tacoma and 4Runner shirts from a another member

***UPDATE***

Meeting at the Exxon on I-45 and Spring Cypress at 4 AM Saturday Jan, 18th. Ride out at approx 4:30 AM.

Please let me know if you’ll be meeting us at the Exxon so we know to wait. Once everyone arrives or come 4:30 AM we will be on the road.

 

Oh hell yeah! Moved down from Boston a couple months ago, been dying to check out HF!
