Saw this today in a local supermarket parking lot. Anyone know what year it is? The bed looked bigger than any modern Taco bed.E0945A2C-8DB5-444F-BB29-B99471448888_1_105_c.jpg

I'm wondering if the bed and cab are the same year. That change in the rocker panel line is...drastic.

yeah, that yellow truck, it's a second gen hilux (1972-1978), but looking at the front grill, I'd say 73-74
Has the grille with the square-ish recessed headlights holes

A high school buddy of mine bought a HiLux after graduation in 1972, it had the parking light on top of the fender like the blue one that you only see a corner of in your picture. he replaced those lights with the turn signals (including the chrome stalk) from a Honda 350 motorcycle. You knew who he was from a mile away when you saw the truck coming. That was a helluva little pickup.
