In Canada, it's hard to get any decent mods for $200 outside of bulbs. Even the tweeter upgrade is barely under $200 and I think you US folks can do it for like$ 70

I got one of these a while ago and last week, my rig wouldn't start, but had dashboard illumination and was clicking when trying to start. I eventually remembered to look at it and it read 9 volts vs 13+ where it should be. That was my tip for a dead battery and sure enough a jump got it going and off to Costco for a new battery I went.

another way is to buy a bunch of industrial T8 fixtures for $7/ea and mount them
but the above LED pic looks cooler and probably consumes less power

A cargo net, like this one:

    https://www.amazon.com/Seah-Hardwar...rds=truck+bed+cargo+net&qid=1604954256&sr=8-5

I think mine was $10 from some random store I don't even remember. Ratchet straps are obviously stronger, but for light loads or a bunch of small things, it's great to just throw the net over all of it and be done.

My elevated sleeping platform, and my Mr. Heater were under $200, and for sure changed my life.

Not sure if this has been covered but this this COVER (that pun wasn't originally intended but I'm just going to roll with it...) for the center console. My truck was used when I got it and the top of the console was kind of gross so naturally instead of spending elbow grease to clean it, I did the easy thing and bought a cover to hide the disgustingness!

    https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00VAS5524/

It fits perfectly and looks like it is stock. Nice too for the summer because it's not another hot surface to scorch my tender flesh on when getting in the rig after being out in the AZ heat.

Note: some people put a thin layer of padding under it to make is more squishy but I don't think it's necessary.

Me too! This is a short bed and I have to get creative with my sleep positions.

Luckily for me I'm "fun sized" so it's a little better.
I really need to make myself a cheap platform for wheeling/camping adventures. Ground camping is loosing it's luster at my ripe old age of 42, LOL

Funny you say that as it was at 42 that I also decided to get off of the ground. My platform was super cheap, and works great. I can yank it out in under 10 minutes. One day I may make something more permanent and substantial but for now this is exactly what I need. The light weight is perfect for wheeling and everything stored away in boxes underneath the platform keeps camping gear from bouncing everywhere.

Loaded 4x4 Double, fresh off the lot. Advanced electronics and advanced off-road package. No mids of my own yet. Opted for the TRD skidplate instead of the shir rails they were offering.
