The PO of mine didn’t take too good of care so it’s needed a lot of work.

I plan on a rear bumper with dual swing out and full 33" spare.

What rear springs are you 3rd gen guys running?

I'm on OME 906 with no extra weight

 

I ran Toytec superflex with my 2000 and CBI bumper/33" spare. It held up fine and was a good ride/height. 906's will be too low depending on your front set up.

No front armor now or in the future.

Keeping it 2" up from stock all around.



The 906 are meant for 2" up from stock at 520lb...forget the spring length. Don't want to upgrade to a spring that'll be too stiff and give me too much height when I get my rear swingout.

 

I meant you might get some sag with the 906's to lower it from 2" with all that weight. You could always put in a couple OME trim spacers if it sags too much for your liking.

 

The value of these third gens is crazy

 

Oh I know they'll sag, hence I was asking what others use with weight installed.

Definitely not interested in adding spacers; I rather do it the right way and buy new coils.

 

Ive used those spacers and they are minimal. Just like putting a 1/4 or 1/2 inch top plate spacers up front as some do. You could bump up to 890’s for a 3” and hope they sag to where you like.

 

Those spacers are really meant to be used to level things out if you have really bad lean. Using the proper springs like @Kwikvette is going to do is the best way to do it. Not saying you can't use spacers but it's generally best to avoid them if possible.

Got my dmz motor perches welded in. Replace them worn out motor mounts before they cause bigger problems.
