Has this happened to anybody’s info system? I turned on my car this morning and this was the first thing I saw and it made me nervous. Any information helps thank you.

Wondering if loose wire or chewed wire - haven't see that before. Was there any recent work done on your truck?

I'm not entirely sure, but I thought I've read a few 20s having this issue, I'd take it in and at least document it. Glad you got a pic too.

Seems to be an issue on the 2020s. I’ve seen it 5+ times already

Is it just me or are there more issues with the 2020's than any other year? It sure feels like it anyway.

I bet it has something to do with the new headunit software/hardware since this seems to be mainly an issue with 20s.

That looks like a hardware issue to me, possibly a bad solder job in the screen connection.

    Traded it in.
That happened to my 20 Sport a few months ago also. Display was fine driving to the gas station, stopped and filled up, then that happened when I started the truck. Turned the truck back off and let everything black out, turned it back on and never had the issue again. I'm hoping it was just some off glitch and won't happen again.

Well I had to drive to work with it looking like that and after I went to lunch I got to check if it would show up again, nope, it disappeared so I am kind of relieved but scared it might come back.

Same thing on my 20 OR back in April. Less than 1k miles. I turned it off and back on and it was back to normal. Hasn't happened again since. There was another thread a month or so ago, and others seemed to have the same thing happen.

If you turn the black knob near that screen back and forth, you might catch a glimpse of some porn.

Is your truck hood hot? If so, your truck needs to go to see a doctor... Your truck may have COVID-19..

    :p

Joking aside, I agree with others.. it happens with 20's Tacomas. If you are not able to clear it up by shut it down and start it up, take it to dealer and they will fix it.

He is not only one.. I have seen same issue awhile back. I don't remember how long ago last I saw. Maybe 2 months ago. I am sure there are non TW members have this problem which is why they don't come here for the help. They go straight to the dealer.
