    No idea.
They are a massive pita to get to, you'll want at least 3 feet of wobble extensions with a swivel.
I'd recommend guiding them in from the back of the engine bay with another person under the truck pushing the extensions in.
Any reason you can't go back to his shop and bust his ass to get the OEM bolts back?
If you need to order new bolts, either find the p/n and order that or pull the existing bolts from your bellhousing and compare them.
There are 2 different lengths of bolts, afaik, the top ones are both the longer of the size, but I'm not totally sure.

Yeah, what he said! That's a crappy thing to do to a customer. I would ask him about the bolts, and make him pay you some money, because he didn't finish the job. Over the years, I have removed and reinstalled a lot of transmissions on various cars. The top bolts on most are hard to get to. NEVER, did I, or my fellow mechanics opt to NOT put in the bolts because they were too hard! Even on the 2.4, the top bolts are hard to get at, but it can be done. On my Tacoma, the biggest problem I had with the top bolts, was that they were in very tight, and I had to use a section of pipe over my breaker bar to get some leverage. And I reinstalled them, and they are still there today.

I guess it all depends How you remove and replace those bolts.

I never had any problems. Yet!!!

With the rear drive shaft removed the transmission crossmember removed I lower the rear of the transmission /Tcase as far as possible without hitting and doing any damage impacting on the firewall.

I can`t say what might have happen possible the job was being pushed the mechanic got distracted it happens the bolts got left out.

Then it might have been every thing back together OOps forgot the Top bolts the hell with it.
