    Hello all!

Been lurking, first post here. Appreciate any help, this is also for people with similar problems.

I have a 2015 Tacoma, 2.7L, 2WD, Access Cab. New to me, have had for half a year. Previous life as I can figure out was a work truck in Chicago.

    New battery.

I am currently figuring out a Parasitic drain on my battery of about 0.25A - 0.14A. The draw stops with the removal of the Alt-S Fuse, Alternator Fuse, or by disconnecting any of the wires running to the alternator. I am lead to believe the alternator is at fault but want double check my info before spending $200.

I am further lead to believe it is the alternator by noticing that the 120A fuse has previously blown and was hastily repaired - pics to follow if you'd like. Anyway, all other fuses seem intact, and again, the draw only comes from the removal of anything leading to the alternator. I'm figuring somebody jumped it wrong and the diode pack on the alternator is causing a draw.

Currently, I'm checking for the internet for a service repair manual so I can do proper tests. I have found these forums with similar problems and info relating to me.

    - Same problem, two users over different generations. No clear solution

    - Info for proper testing on parasitic draw, and normal draw on stock.

Anything else is greatly appreciated! Thanks everybody! :)
