I've been lurking on TW for awhile now and I've had my '19 Tacoma for a few weeks. One of the first things I did was hunt down someone to spray the underside to fight rust. I found a great little shop in the north metro of the twin cities, Affordable Auto Solutions Inc.
They did an absolutely amazing job getting every nook and cranny on my truck, he spent 4 hours spraying every inch of the frame, inside the rockers, in the doors, and took off my skid plate to spray under it.

Currently he is trying to build his business up and is selling it for $500 (It's based on car size) for unlimited lifetime applications, he plans on trying other pricing plans like one time applications or annual fee.
His family has been in the auto detailing world for a few decades and he starting with a small, simple shop building client base before getting a bigger shop.
And if you already have surface rust he will paint over it with an inhibitor to stop the spread, like I said I was impressed, much better than going to Ziebart

Woolwax is pretty much the same product as fluid film. The shop owner uses both put prefers woolwax as it is thicker than fluid film so it should last longer before washing off.

    welcome to TW

the Ziebart is some questionable stuff from lurking around tw, i think my Dad did that to one of the family vehicles in the 1970s

i have a few spray cans of this product but did not get the opportunity to try it out yet on the old truck

I bought the wool wax kit when it was on sale and decided to do it my self to save some money last fall. Boy is it a pain in the ass and a headache crawling under to spray the underside using just jacks and jack stand. I didn't get it thoroughly like inside the frames and doors, but felt it was enough with the equipment I had. At the end of if, I kind of wished I just paid a shop to do it.

I spray my Miata (that I only drive in the summer so I don't have to do that great of a job spraying) and it's a pain to do an even half way decent job with it just lifted on jack stands. That's why I found a shop to do my truck, some times it's worth every penny to have a professional do the job.

Yes, I've been through the touchless car wash with the high pressure under wash at least 15 times since I had the under coat sprayed on. But even right after it was done it looked pretty much the same, maybe just a little glossier.
I plan on getting a quick respray of the Wool Wax in October before winter.

Did they spray the driveshaft and rear axle areas?

I found Woolwax does hold up better than fluid film for those that like to get after it with a power washer even during winter months. I never had issues with fluid film, both do the trick. Looks like a pretty good service this guy is offering.

The only thing that didn't get sprayed was the transmission and he avoided getting over spray on the front brakes, other than that everything else got hosed.
Inside every nook and cranny on the frame, inside the rockers, inside the door panels, the entire engine bay, all the suspension parts, driveshaft, axles, the drum brakes. Like I said he spent 4 hours spraying and making sure every inch was covered.

It looks just like the underside, the same as the day it rolled off the factory floor but with a thin layer of near invisible oily film.
That's whats so great about it, it's invisible and always fighting rust.

I also use Fluid Film, since I can get the aerosol cans easily, to spray any metal objects I leave exposed outdoors. My bike locks on my roof rack work flawlessly after 5 years of constant exposure to the elements, my metal hammock stand sits rust free in my back yard after 6 years, all my steel bike frames get a coating in the frame tubes yearly.

If you plan on keeping something made of metal that is exposed to the elements for more than 5 years next to getting it powder coated Wool Wax/Fluid Film is a must.

I am sure they covered the belts up!! or wiped them off after at least. i got a wee bit of WW on one of my trucks belts from underneath in the front while the old splash shields were getting powdercoated and it sorta slipped upon startup the next morning lol
does it just burn off the hot engine valve covers, exhaust manifold, etc.?

Yeah, they recommend avoiding spraying the exhaust since it is just going to burn off anyway.
