Name that sound

So I just had a lift and a clamshell bushing install done Sept 4th. I have about 500 miles on it since. This sound started after the install...

it only happens when I turn to the left as if I was doing a U-turn... I tried the same turn that’s in this video turning to the right and doesn’t happen.

Cv joint?

Maybe jack it up, turn the wheel to the left and rotate the tire by hand.
Maybe you’ll feel or see it?

Sounds like this is CV after talking and diagnosing with @ST77 & @El Duderino

 

Replaced CV’s on both sides today and still have the noise.

 

IMHO You have a wheel bearing job in your near future......sorry.

 

Already did that about a year ago

 

Can you replicate the noise doing this?

 

Sounds like a strut bearing/spring bind to me. Especially if you just had a lift installed. It will make your spring “pop” and cause that sound I think I’m hearing

Check sway bar bushings balljoints etc

awesome thanks now I need to figure out how to diagnose and explain to shop who installed lift

 

Does it happen when the wheel is NOT rolling?
Or only when the wheel is spinning? (rolling)
