I know there are plenty of other posts about this, but my brain is going to explode ffrom all the contradictions information and people who run different setups.

I cant justify or afford top level kits like king, im thinking something like toytec or OME, i will be adding some bush bumpers in the future and want to run 33" tires, i am told to run 33s i need 3" of lift, I plan on getting a RTT eventually, but for now i use my hard canopy, other than that i don't add a ton of extra weight to the box. my truck is used a little more on road than off, but i take a little discomfort to make sure it performs well when i do go offroad.

for those here to help and not tell me to search other outdated posts, thank you kindly!

Calling @HeadStrong Off-Road would be my advice to you. Many here have done this with positive outcomes due to their knowledge of lifts for each specific setup of the individual owner.

You'll be best off probably with a set of 5100s matched a ome coil 886 I think. Throw a add a leaf in the leaf pack.

    A. You posted in "suspension "
    B. Old man emu, toytec, etc... all make different rated and length of spring, equivalent to the 600, 650, 700 lb spring used in fox, icon, king, etc...
Get the right spring for your 3 inches of lift with all that weight and the right leaf pack out back.
C..... doesn't matter if your 2nd or 3rd gen or even 1st gens. Only thing different when lifting these trucks is... 5 lug or 6 lug.
    D. Nobody can tell you what best for you and your butt dyno.
    E. Choose between digressive or progressive valved.

5100s and 886 coils are probably the cheapest option. Pair that with a single add a leaf and your set until you start adding weight and realize add a leafs are trash.
