I recently just purchased a new '20 Taco. It only has about 100 miles on it. At how many miles should I wait till I can put on some new wheels and 35" tires???

If you have to ask, 35s are probably not the best choice for you.

NOW is the time. BTW you will likely need to cut the shit out of your new truck to fit them.

I'd do some DD research here first. Then decide what you need/want and how much you want to spend.

You can fit one size bigger tire stock with no mods. 265/75/16s

You will also need a regear, and your power train warranty will be in jeopardy. I would wait until you’re out of warranty.

If you have a 6 speed you won’t need the regear

I have 35s and have a lifetime power train warranty

You will need to cut a lot and will need either a drop bracket lift or a suspension lift with fenders

Good timing. The magic number is 100 miles for 35's, so you're good to go.

Since you're in SoCal, corrosion is less of an issue. So the answer is whenever your wallet is ready to take in the cost of wheels/tires/re-gear/chopping. The fenders and cab mount on the frame are easier to chop when there's less dirt and off-road mud on them.

    yeah definitely some

Stage 2 clutch and stage 3 flywheel help a lot. I still plan on a regear down the road. Definitely worth it though.

I personally like the look of 35s/315s a lot and they are a hella of a lot better off road. I had a 2nd gen on 33s it was automatic but my current 2018 with the 35s has definitely made a difference in swamps and muddy trails I know my 2nd would have issues with.
