Curious, were your previous smoked/blacked out lights OEM?

Raptor lined my fender flares. Pro tip- keep your phone in your pocket or face down.

Looks like I’m going to actually buy something in Black Friday if they do a repeat. I’m tossed up between BAMF and C4 or locally with Timbo’s Customs

1st sparkplug change. Pretty easy. 90 minutes start to finish. Took a few minutes for a mug of coffee.

Removed a set of Autolites. :(

    Now a set of Densos.

Next task is fluid change in the difffs and Xfer case. But I need to get a pump before I can tackle the fluid change. Hard to pour uphill.

Rear diff gear oil changed (85w140) to end the break-in period for the 4.88 Nitro gears. :bananadance: Rear is jacked a bit to level it out.

Looking forward to seeing the video on how the 4.88's perform on the highway, normal driving, and mpg's.

Non-hazy headlamps make a big difference in appearance. Also most people I know don't adjust their lights for any reason, so right on for adjusting them.

$103 apiece. Go to Headlamps America. Installation is not that bad considering. Remove the grill and the bodymoulding below the headlights. Loosen the top bolts. Lie on your back below and reach up through the wheelwell, working blind. On the LH side, there are two nuts at the headlamp's flange. The upper nut is the one you need to loosen, of course. The RH is easier, but the LH side takes forever. I have done this a couple times now, and it still takes an hour messing around with stuff. However, I've spent longer looking for the 10mm box wrench I used but did not return to the tool box before I closed the hood.

Adjusting isn't that bad, except generally the top adjustment is vertical. Not so on Tacomas. Tacomaholic suggested moving the windshield cleaner tank. Take his advice--it made life easier. If it appears the aimpoint is not moving, you're correct--it's not. Turn the adjustment knob the other way. Also use a parking garage if you can. Lighting is better. Less traffic. Dry. Flat. It will take almost as long to set up and take down as to adjust. If not, turn the adjustment knob the other way. :)

Yes, OEM but not smoked or blacked. Just the way they happen to look. (At least I don't think they look smoked sitting on my bench. Hmmm. . . . ) I've kept them and I am going to try to refurbish them.
