Put those Pmags through a thorough testing. I have gotten rid of all Pmags for my Glocks and am sticking with OEM mags only. That’s a decision based on numerous courses taken, and the continued unreliability of Pmags for the Glocks. Great for my long guns.....Glocks not so much.
    As always, YMMV.

what kind of failures? I prefer OEM but my magpuls are the only aftermarket mags that haven’t had issues

They’re all getting numbered and tested, would prefer OEMs but read they need to be modified for the Magpul well. Will see when it’s all in hand.

Feeding issues. It is sporadic, but to the point that I won’t trust my life or the life of my loved ones to “sporadic” reliability. As I intimated, I have dozens of Pmags that have been extremely reliable with my long guns, but for whatever reason, not so much in my Glocks.

Yeah obviously the rifle mags are top notch...I haven’t heard of any failures with their Glock mags so I was interested in actually hearing about them

I have 12-15 magpul Glock mags. They are great for range use but I'm with you for other purposes. They tend to need some lube to feed reliably once they get well used. This is compounded if you use steel case ammo since it's just not as slick as a brass casing. When I carry it's only with OEM mags.

We had similar issues with our shop's rental Silencerco Maxim 9 which used a pmag. Every 6 months or so we'd have to replace the pmag because the mag lips would warp and cause feed issues. Keep in mind the Maxim 9 was one of our most popular rental guns and I'm sure the suppressor caused higher heat in the chamber with sustained shooting. The pmags were being borderline abused the way they were being used but we still didn't recommend them for carry/duty. Good range mags though.

Hey question for my fellow Glock buddies. I've carried a G23 for years and the week decided to start running a G22 mag in it for the extra couple of rounds. Do you guys know if anyone makes some sort of sleeve or aftermarket mag baseplate that fills in that gap between the bottom of the grip and the bottom of the mag? It's not an aesthetic problem but the raised lip of the bottom of the mag kind of digs into my back when I'm driving.

Boom! Thanks to both of you guys! I didn't know what to call it, so wasn't sure what to search for. That's exactly what I needed. Thanks again!

Got my Gray Ghost frame stuck on my Gen 3 slide today. It’s real smooth and tight fitting. I will upgrade the slide and barrel after I get moved. AFABA7CA-0BD3-4910-AF2F-4A330D413FE5.jpg

You looking for suggestions? I haven't tried these exact holsters but have tried similar models. Had a T1C Axis Slim. I've since moved on to a TXC X1 with a light. I realized I don't really care for the extra bulk needed for the mag.

If the holster is open ended it should fit either. I think the rails changed ever so slightly for gen 5 so the fit may be a little different if the 19/17 holster is a different gen.

Edit: I just went back and read the message on this from TXC. They said the fit across gen 4/5 is the same unless you have a light. Recommend gen dedicated holsters if you're running a light.

I'd buy with confidence regardless of gen to be honest. The comments I posted above may be specific to how TXC makes their holsters. I have several T-Rex Ragnaroks and have had no issues with them. You should be good to go. I'll post a pic of the end of my holster with 19 and X300 so you can see. T-Rex may cut the kydex a little different on the end but concept is the same.

Stopped by Academy on my way to work and this followed me out. This will take the place of the 43 as the main carry.
