They’re heavy duty 4” thick ones made specifically for camping. Not that Coleman $10 one that doesn’t hold air for an hour.

plus it would be an addition to the main mattress. It wouldn’t be all air.

I’ve spent good money on some crappy air mats before, some were great for a few sleeps, but never found one I would recommend. Again this is 10 years ago, maybe more when I bought cots.

things have changed a lot in that time.

After a week long road trip to Grand Tetons and Yellowstone NPs, here’s my review of the Warrior:
    • Set up is extremely easy and breezy. Shocks work just fine. Also did really well in windy conditions and did not have to use the strut thingamabobbers it came with.
    • Pole bag already has a hole in the bottom and would also recommended gluing the rubber end.
    • Not that big of a deal but having double sided zippers so it’s easier to open from the outside would be great.
    • The foam mattress that it came with is gawd awful. Replaced it with a memory foam mattress topper.
    • I left the LED lights plugged in the entire time and there is enough play in the wire when closed.
    • Rained on us one night and was pleasantly dry the entire time
    • The straps used to close the tent are extremely annoying when the tent is open and my tent is low enough to where I can reach everything so I just got rid of them. Bungees work ok but you will still need to do some tucking when closing up.
    • Bolts holding the locking mechanism definitely needs locktite. They came loose a couple times throughout the trip
That’s all I can think of atm but Hopefully this is helpful! Overall very satisfied with the tent and would recommend it to anyone! Just needs a little tweaks here and there

Great review! Were you able to leave the comforter and pillows in the tent when closing?

For those of you that have annex logos upside down, and would like it fixed, shoot DA an email with your order number or pm me a email address and order number so I can send it off for you.

I got this topper but any will do. Probably should’ve gone with a 3 inch but it works fine for me. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07VZMQRN8/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_HF2CFbQ3GPXZD
I was able to leave the comforter in there but not with the pillows.

I think I was looking at that. I’ll need to revisit my browsing history.

Nice! Did you go with the queen size? Also were you also able to keep the topper in there when closing? And did you replace the old topper with the new one? Thanks for the reply!

I took out the old foam, used it to trace the new mat and tossed the old one away. Folds up just fine like before. The queen size was the perfect fit width wise.

This is what I was thinking. I can’t find one the right size to fit the xl dimensions though.
