I had my SUV outfitted great ! I had those Orvis foam back seat filler things for the floor so my Labrador wouldn’t fall into the floor on stops! But those (foam Orvis things ) won’t fit in my Tacoma backseat floorboard ( too narrow ) I can use my front seat foam floor Orvis for my tiny Westie !
I need to find a great hammock type cover that allows air thru

I’ll verify when I get home (I don’t remember what I bought!). For anyone interested, these are the large Ruffland kennels, but I think the XL will also fit side by side between the wheel wells, they are just taller and longer...

That pet tube is fantastic ! For smaller dogs! I use two of those pop up type hampers for my sofa to keep dogs off! Haha ! Works great too!

I am dogless at the moment. I have a deposit on a female chocolate lab and will find out if I actually get her or not next week. She is the only female in the litter and the stud owner gets first pic. If I do get her and when she is big enough , she will be riding in a Gunner intermediate which will be strapped down in the bed of the truck. Already have the kennel, just need the pup.

My cocker usually sits in the back seat of the cab. If that's full, I have a rope tied across the bed with his 2 foot leash connected to a loop on the middle. This gives him a 4 foot diameter circle to move around, but keeps him short of the bed rails.

Wouldn’t have “nanny state” rules if dipshits didn’t ride on the highway with dogs in their open truck beds....but they do. And if you haven’t noticed, dogs are infinitely better than humans, so protect them at all costs. Now if you want to never where a seatbelt, I’d support your effort in doing that. :oldglory:

I have a knock off furminator that works AMAZING! I brush my lab for a minute or 2 before the daily walk and it does wonders to keep fur under control.

As for the dog. He sits in the passenger seat with a dog cover on it and air bag off, and I have a carpeted platform in the back if anyone is in the front seat. I'm not a fan of kennels as they don't afford dogs much grip, and all you're really doing is putting them in a smaller harder box that often breaks and creates potentially sharp protrusions in the event of an accident.

A full grown Lab will fit in the intermediate size kennel? I have been looking and thought I would need a large. We get our half lab and half golden in 3 weeks.
