Kind of like the title suggests, can we run a wheel with 5" backspacing? What would it take to run this? Mamba has a couple wheel options that are only 21-22lbs for a 16x8! That's 10lbs lighter per wheel/ corner for me and I'm sure my truck would appreciate that! Any advice would be helpful.

Depending on what size tire you want to run, maybe

That's a 13mm offset vs stock 38mm so it's going to push the wheel out 25mm/~1", plus whatever extra tire width you go with. I like the tool on this site to visualize the differences.

It'll be the same as my current setup. I have a 2" spacer up front and run 145/70r16 on 16x8 Pro Comp series 51 wheels with no issues. Current wheel specs are -6mm offset and 4.25" backspacing. I'll take a look at the calculator you linked.

If you keeping the 2” spacer on the front the 5” backspace on the wheel is a non issue. It’s basically running a 3” backspace if the spacer is used. If you don’t use the spacer then as said above will depend on the tire size.

Sorry I should've specified, I have a 2" spacer LIFT on the front. I did the calculator and it pretty much said that these new wheels would be sunken in by 0.75" compared to my current setup. So if I did go with these, I'd probably run a 15mm spacer.

You’ll want to use a hub centric bolt on wheel spacer. You may be hard pressed to find one in 15mm usually the minimum is gonna be a 1”.
