    Don't do it.

Too much of a chance of losing your oil and ruining your engine. The thing sticks out like a sore thumb, waiting to be hit by road debris or tampered with by a disgruntled person.

Is it worth risking a $4K engine, over a few minutes saved during an oil change?

None of them, your regular drain plug is the best and easiest to use,and the most SECURE.

I just looked into getting one just now.. then realized I go on trails that have dented up my oil pan, don't think I need to lose any more clearance lol

Tucked up nicely behind the skid plate and in front of the cross member it doesn’t hang below

What about when a rock goes tumbling under the truck, with that cutout in your skid plate.

Well, I could use a skid plate. Still though, alot of jagged rocks that have a high chance of whacking it. Check out my oil pan...

that’s how it looks from the factory , I don’t see many rocks tumbling down the pavement to jump up and take out the valve . I see what your saying thou , I don’t do much wheeling . I do like going out and playing in the snow with the truck

As a fumoto/RCI skid owner, it 100% does make it easier. But do yourself a favor and install the valve before you put you skid plate on. I was lazy and jerry rigged a crowsfoot to work for tightening it, but I def made it harder on myself than needed.

Purchased and installed on a few of my vehicles. Less mess and tucks up well. Short nipple version as to keep it tucked.

I've been using the EZ Oil Drain Valve, EZ-103 on my 4 banger for 3 oil changes now. It's fast enough to total drain my truck while I grease my u-joints. I also like that the tubing goes directly inside my oil container, with no muss no fuss. I would not recommend using one of these if you don't have a skid plate covering your spigot though.
