Brazilian jiu jitsu (BJJ)

Haven't been able to train at all lol

 

yup... monogomously LOL.
I picked a guy I know well and we only train with each other and lead safe/ quarantined lives outside of jiu jitsu.

Our gym is open on DL but we go in between classes and do an hour session three times a week. Better than nothing and better than catching the virus.

I was surprised to see that the BJJ guy was not facing the football player as words were being exchanged at the beginning. In fact, some guy in the back shoved the BJJ guy and since he wasn’t looking, he perhaps thought the football player shoved him.

At any rate, it was cool to see a smaller well trained guy lay a real world beating down upon a larger guy. Helio smiles!

 

So playin around at Jiu jitsu practice the other day, caught my trainin partner tryin to choke me with his gi lapel, I took it away from him and had it goin up under his arm over his back and across his opposite shoulder, startin to setup a triangle, he stopped fightin and says “do you still have hold of my gi?” I said yes, he says “ok I’m tappin cause I can’t feel my fingers”

 

You'd be lucky if that's all you got.

 

At 0:03 MMA guy turns to his buddy and asks "which one do you want?"

Not looking at the guys picking the fight, because he knows it's not really a threat

Football jocks are throwing pre-fight indicators, MMA dudes are just standing around talking until it's go-time.

Initial throw and back control both relatively gentle, then those wild punches start and he turns it up.

I read that pussy Jones has filed charges and is filing a lawsuit....
If I was on his team, I wouldn’t be. I would remind him daily what a weasel he is. Take your licks like a man.
