I just bought a new 2021 Tacoma TRD Off-Road (which will be ready to pick up in a few weeks) and went to buy weathertech mats for it, but discovered that they don't have the 2021 as an option yet. I called and they said that they could not guarantee that it was an exact fit if I went with the ones made for the 2020. I know a few of you have already gotten your 2021 tacomas in and so figured that someone might know if the 2020 mats will fit perfectly in the 2021 tacoma? Also, same question applies for the Husky Weatherbeaters? Trying to figure out if they also are an identical fit with the 2020s. My hunch is that they are since the design of the truck hasn't changed, but just trying to confirm with someone who might have already bought some for their new truck.

Get Husky Weatherbeaters, don’t look back and don’t be sorry.

Thick and tough. Mine are 5 years old now and no scratches. No heel wear. Easy to clean, perfect fit, and can take abuse.

I got mine on sale from AutoAnything. If you get into a chat with a sales rep you can usually get anywhere between 10% and 20% off. Did that for my Husky’s, nerf bars, AVS vent shades, tonneau cover, and tailgate seal. Must have saved $250 bucks.

I appreciate it. This is my 5th Tacoma (1987, 2003, 1999, 2013, and now 2021), but only recently got involved with Tacoma World. Very cool to connect with everyone.

GotSand?18, that was my thought exactly I was surprised when WeatherTech said that they couldn't guarantee it, so I figured I would ask. As I understand it, the trucks are identical in all these respects. ha.

Im in the same boat. I was going to just order 2020 mats as husky said their line of mats for 2021 Tacoma wont be out for another 15-20 weeks. Might as well order the 2020 and save some money as well

Wasn’t there a difference in seat mounts with the addition of power seats?

I don’t know - just throwing that out there.

I didn’t get an exact fit for my Lexus SUV with WeatherTech. Sent them back and next set fit the same. I would not buy them again. Just put Husky X-act mats in my 2020. Fit very good. Nicer than WT.

I've tried both weathertech and husky in my truck and the husky was a better fit. That said, why would you think the 2021 model (which is identical to all other 3rd gens) is unique? In 2018 they added floor clips to the passenger side of all tacomas..

I'm sure they are just covering their asses to prevent upset customers if they said it definitely fits and it definitely does not. They laser measure the interiors to get the right fit. If you don't think it'll be an issue, just get one for the 2020 model. 99% chance it is the same.
