I saw the Fury listed as an upcoming model on their website but didn’t show any specs or pictures so I emailed them to see what they could tell me about it. They responded with those pictures and specs. Looks promising. We recently sold our Mt Shasta soft shell and was leaning towards getting an ikamper mini or stepping up to a Bush Company Alpha but might wait until we can check this one out.

    Uh negative- LOL.

It’s a game changer in that sense. The SAT issue could be a deal breaker.

I haven’t had sat radio in a long time. I just Spotify and play my offline songs when it loses signal. Keeps the music going.

Same. Think I might have used the free trial for like a day haha. I revived my old ass iPod back from the dead and just use that.

An unusually high amount of pinstriping.
The RTT might not be fully at fault for the bad SAT signal (although it wouldn't help things). There were many times that I had problems with SAT radio when my truck was completely stock with no bed rack and no RTT. I decided that sat radio wasn't going to work for me two months after buying the truck. I was parked on top of a ridge in the mountains with no trees within 500' of me and the sat signal would come and go.

Mocking up how I'm gonna make some cross bars for the Tepui Hybox. I absolutely hate strapping surfboards or kayaks up here its such a pain. I cut L track in 4 pieces that im gonna bolt to the tent that im still kinda ehh about because im putting 8 holes in the tent. Thinking of just using some aluminum square tube for the feet. Anyone have any ideas?

When I had my soft top on, I had SAT everywhere I went, which is what’s cool about satellite. Now, I’m limited with the hard top. It sucks!

What about some of these and then mount flat steel as cross bars? https://www.uscargocontrol.com/L-Track-Double-Lug-Threaded-Stud-Fitting
They might not be tall enough to get above the curve of the tent though.

That does sound like it's the tent causing the problem.

How do y'all run 12v power inside the tent?

To power lights, fan, charge phones, etc?

I should have provided more information:

My tent is going on a trailer with dual battery and solar.

I'm looking at a wiring extension of some kind, not a stand alone unit.

I run a blue sea fuse block off of my 2nd battery. Then from that you can do a 12v usb up to your tent. I saw a video on it a while ago. Let me try to find it. I haven't done it myself because I really only go in my tent to sleep. I make sure my phone is charged before, and i also have a 12v fan with internal battery.
