20201017_225916.jpg 20201017_230059.jpg Hello every one! In need of some useful. Went out with some buddies and did not turn out well. Long story short. Both of my front shocks bilstein 4600 shock are "fubar". From the looks of it and I'm hoping its just the shocks that are in need or replacing. Also I do have a strut space that is about 1 5/8ish .

What are some good replacement shocks and or struts that I should consider. Note I'm not trying to get stock 4600 again but I also don't have a lot of coin to just splurge.

I was thinking some rancho RS999915 (auto zone part#) since it is something I can afford. But if there is any other recommendations I'm here to listen.

    Thank you guys!

Now story time! What caused said FUBAR?

Edit: Your swaybar endlink looks tweaked too. I'd also check your CV boots for tears, in case they contacted the suspension and tore.

Thank you for the recommendations and suggestions thus far.
Story time. Last night went out with some buddies, bonfire and what not. Heading back home nothing out of the ordinary have been down this trail multiple of times. Except this time with a bit more speed( wouldn't say barreling down but more speed than what I would have wanted). Im sure I caught some air and also some other bumps didnt help. The matter.

Those top hat spaces are the cause of this. The 5100's are adjustable allowing you to lift the front.

I'm going to have to get the shocks first and then inspect and evaluate the other components that you guys have advised on.

Also just to ask should I also upgrade the rear? Of course after the front?

That looks bigger than a 5100? or maybe I just don’t remember how small my stock rear shocks were.

But yes, another vote for removal of those awful top hat spacers and get some 5100’s they’re pretty great.

ALSO UNTIL YOU REINFORCE YOUR FRAME AND GET 2.5” DAMPING ADJUSTABLE KING COIL OVERS STOP JUMPING YOUR TRUCK SILLY, IT’S A TACOMA NOT A TROPHY TRUCK WITH 37” OF TRAVEL!!!
