Where to find proper body clips

    Hey guys trying to find out the part numbers for the clips used to secure the plastic piece under the headlights on a 2014 2.5gen tacoma.

    I tried several sources for body clips. Amazon, AutoZoo, OReilly, AdvanceAuto.......

    Ended up at the local Toyota Dealer. Yes, they are more expensive, but they fit properly and only cost <$1.50 each.

    The Amazon kit above looks like it has all you will ever need.
    I got a similar kit and found I only used the 8mm pins with 4 tabs that expand such as:

    They fit tightly so I push the 4 tab part in with the pin removed and push the pin in and if really tight use a small hammer to tap in. Used on the front bumper area, front fender liners, mud flaps etc. Get the tool to remove them makes it easier as a screwdriver always is a pain and really need to pull the pin on 2 sides.

    old post but did you find what you needed? I got one that comes loose on me daily and i have to pop it back in. Looks like one of those Christmas tree push in style but i cant find it on the Tacoma body diagrams

    The green clip comes with the plastic trim. But you can use a door trim panel clip as a substitute.
