I'm interested in this mod, but just figured I would ping @KTJO for clarification on what to order. This is a great mod to up the convenience factor in the truck.

My take on most of the ktjo mods is wait for someone else to do it and write it up.

Weathertech "Stone and Bug Deflector". Attaches under the hood in 6 of the 8 square holes with plastic inserts and stainless steel screws. This is different than the low profile "Hood Deflector" that only uses adhesive tape.

1st gen is what made me fall in love with these trucks. Always liked the lines of a first gen, but never owned one.

I have owned a 2nd gen '06, and now I have my 3rd gen Barcelona red SR5 which I love.

I just installed the @KTJO bowl light kit. I like the fact that she has a whole ist of install videos on the website. Easy peasy, just needed to pop the door panels to fish the wires down. Great little mod, took about a half-hour to do all four doors. I'm impressed with the quality of the supplied harnesses too, completely OEM in design and function.

Window up/down kit will be something to add.

yours look super bright. Mine don't shine that much. Might be I have other things hooked up to the window panel controls?

Photos always seem brighter than IRL based on what I looked at prior to doing mine.

Bowl lights seem like the one ktjo mod which is very clear and straightforward, both in terms of ordering and in terms of installation. Easily her best product. Though the in-cab inverter + 400w while driving harnesses are also great quality just confusing to someone who hasn't already done the mod.

    1) Boy, it seems warm in here today...
    2) What's that funny smell ??
    3) Oh, shit! Oh, shit!

Yeah, I tried that one too, however the onlookers enjoyed it so there was some value added...

Saturday new rotors and brake pads were installed at my neighbors house. Neighbor installed them while I took my wife to dinner.

What I didn’t know is before he started working on the brakes he quickly installed a new REMOTE START on my truck. My wife bought it for a Christmas gift and asked the neighbor to install it and not mention it. Picked up my truck Saturday and drove 2 houses home. Well....Sunday night before going to bed I hit lock but didn’t hear it. I pushed lock 2 more times and heard a familiar Toyota engine start. I froze in my tracks. My wife busted out laughing and told me she was going to toss me my keys on Christmas Day to use the remote start. Oh well the surprise is blown!

    Works on the key fob!!!!!!!

My wife asked the neighbor which she should get me for Christmas.
    1. A bumper light bar
    2. Wet suit seat covers
    3. A spacer lift
    4. Remote start

He told her winter is coming! Get him the remote start.

Nice! I "found" mine the same way. I am used to triple-locking my Toyota's and mine started. It was funny but a difficult habit to break after so many years with my previous Toyota's. Now I lock and listen to make sure it did not start! Ha!
