@Dometic just picked up a cfx 35 NO warranty, bought from someone new in the box.
After 3 min of running I got an open warning on the app, lid is definitely closed. I also put my camera inside and when the lid is closed it still senses it's open (blinking light inside). Cant seem to find the sensor where It detects the lid. Any help?

@Dometic do the older CFX insulated covers fit the CFX3 coolers?

Well I guess this is a dead thread.

I've got some variance questions for a CFX 55IM. The default temp is 36º and I left it at that. How much should that vary? On a test of it inside the house and plugged in empty the interior temp averaged 34 - 39º over a 30 hour period. Lowest temp I saw was 30º and highest was 39º. I didn't open the lid during the test and it has the cover from Dometic. Inside house temps were low 70's at night to a high of 80º during the day.

To me, that seems like a lot.

What got me to test it at home was during a 6 day camping trip it varied from the low 40's down to 26º once. Several times I noticed it was between 30 - 32º. Outside temps were in the low 60s to mid 80s but that didn't seem to have any affect on the internal temp of the Dometic. The 26º temp did occur only once at night but sometimes in the afternoon heat it would hit 30-32º

Using a battery pack ( a Goal Zero Yetti 500wh and a EcoFlow River Pro 700wh) I'm seeing a draw of generally 30w to 40w, with a rare high of about 55w and a single low of 12w. Definitely runs most of the time. Occasionally it did have a zero wattage draw and a few times it dipped into a low 20s watt draw.

What's your experience? Oh, my "IM" stands for ice machine, and I kept that on throughout and that does use more power.

I have a CFx50 and I have seen mine vary from 36 to 39 I have not seen it drop down to 30 or lower.
