Just completed toquerville falls in UT with my mall crawling sport. This was my first real off road adventure.

Overall, pretty impressed with the truck. I stayed in 2wd 99% of the time. The auto LSD was VERY quick to react going up hills. I did use 4lo a couple times because it was very very rocky and I didn't want to ride the clutch so 4 lo let me just crawl along. One rock shelf looked like I wasn't going to make it but the truck crawled up with ease, no wheel spin.

On the way back I had to take a less than ideal line down that rock shelf due to traffic and I def scraped the hitch. Not sure if I scraped anything else, I crawled around and didn't see anything. No marks on the suspension components, diff, frame, or factory skid plates. But I do see marks on the bottom of the hitch lol.

The bad news is I needed an alignment after completing the journey. My steering wheel was always off to the left since I owned the truck from new but it was a bit worse after this adventure. Not sure if that's something that should be expected, result of poor line choice, etc. I've done forest service roads no problem. I don't feel like it hit anything hard on this but it was VERY rough. So who knows. The shop said nothing was bent so that was a relief. I did pass a 4runner broken down, front wheels were pigeon toed. So perhaps this trail is more treacherous than I give credit for.

I've been considering a side by side and this adventure kind of cements I don't want to wheel my daily.

I did toquerville falls a few weeks back. It's gorgeous but the first three miles in are very rough. Nothing too technical just very rocky.

I’m hoping to get there in June on a 5 week trip out west. Any suggested BLM sites? It will be my Taco and my buddy’s 4x4 sprinter
