    not a single mod
I made my own add a leaf out of a 2020 leaf pack.
Added it to my sagging 2003 rear.
Installed along with some lightly used 4600s.
Brought up the rear about 2" I think..
But it was really sagged before.PXL_20201024_220411457.jpg

Found a flowmaster with down pipe in my parts pile so decided to us it so the exhaust is not blowing on the rear shocks. May do some moving and adjustments in the future. Was surprised how much I like the sound.

Pulled the trigger on a magnuson and 7th injector. Pumped and looking forward to it getting here. Noticed after I ordered they had a combo deal with a hundred off. I emailed them to see if they would honor it. We’ll see.

@austinmtb has offered some great info and any tips anyone has on the install or experience with it would be greatly appreciated!

Productive day working on the truck. Several things accomplished.

    • Oil change
    • Tire rotation
    • LED headlights installed
    • HID upgrade to Hella 700s
    • Limit strap installation (front)
    • Cut up, repositioned mounts to fit diff correctly, re-welded, and painted, BAMF rear diff skid
it’s me, so there are obviously more details to follow, but now I am ready for the next trip!

Well, almost. As I was doing work in the engine compartment, I noticed that the ground from the battery to the body right next to the battery had broken on the last trip, which probably means my battery was moving around too much. Easy enough to fix, but wasn’t a high priority for today.

Planted brackets and Scheel-Mann seats (supposedly great for long haul drivers and people with ass and back probs). I'm eyeballing a set for my Land Cruiser

Happy to answer any questions you have about it. Was a fun project.
Bought a housing off another member here. Marlin 4.7 gears with Trail gear adapters. Bunch of other misc internal components that I was missing from Yotamasters. Built it up myself.
Ran into some fitment issues with the transmission to crawlbox coupler. More details in my build thread.
Shoot me a PM if you have more questions.
Also lots of great info in the crawlbox BS thread: https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/official-crawlbox-bs-thread.422186/

    Go 2.28 if you're an auto, 4.7 if you're a manual.

Oh, one more thing. I found this in my slow-leak tire when I was rotating tires. Yay. :pout:

I knew you'd say that. What you really mean is that you don't like lack of cut-off, I think. These have cut-off. Still, not 100% sure I like them (color wise, and b/c I had to trim the rubber water shield) but I'm going to give them a try. I don't have to worry about freezing temps to the same extent as you, so heating isn't an issue.

I have a similar muffler on my 2.7L but magnaflow. I like the sound of it too.

I also have a mangaflow bolt-on catalytic converter replacement that I would recommend if you ever need to replace yours (assuming you're 4cyl as well)

I was surprised I thought it may sound like a rice rocket but it's fairly deep for a 4 cylinder

Yea exactly my thoughts too. I was pleasantly surprised at the sound.
I believe a lot of that is due to the fact that it's a relatively large displacement 4 cylinder engine.
Had a buddy with a twin turbo Audi v6 that was 2.7L. Same displacement

Was my experience as well, back in my 4 banger days. Miss the sound of that thing, the 5VZ sounds like poo, but the extra power is decent I guess.

@cynicalrider says part of those bulbs can come off making it possible to slide the rubber piece on without modification.
Maybe he’ll go more into depth for you.

Cutting the boot is the biggest reason I won’t run those. Constantly dealing with people coming into the dealer with condensation issues only to find out they cut their boots for leds
