Has anyone wired in aftermarket dome lights and had them work properly? I know most LEDs will need a resistor wired in place so the dome light circuit will dim like stock, this is how my stock dome light is wired at the moment with an LED in place. I just want/need more light inside. My thought is to check resistance across the LED I have now, order something like these...

...then wire them all up and try to figure out the resistance needed to have them turn off like factory. Possible? Not entirely sure hah. And for those wondering why I have to go aftermarket, I have next to none of the stock interior left and I hate how I’m still using the stock dome light but there has to be a better way to get proper lighting up there.

And done. They dim like stock too, just need to wire in a 3 way switch so I can have the On/Off/Door feature back.

What resistor or what not did you end up doing? I’m in the exact same boat
