I found carrying a couple rubbermaid containers in the front of the bed worked just as well, with the rubber mat keeping them in place.

 

I just bought an OEM bed divider and the square brackets that fit in the slider are way too tight to put over the ends of the divider top rail. Is this a normal problem or is mine just a bad one? If I pound it on there I will never get it off again, and with those fancy knobs, clearly it is intended to be easily removable. Also the 2 bolts that came are different sizes and only 1 will fit in the channel of the top rail. It looked like original packaging from Toyota, but unless this is the norm I think I'll take it back.

 

I just completed this mod as described for my 2021 TRD Sport and it fits like a glove, slides back and forth as it should and looks perfect. Quick and easy fix.
