Awesome, today is too soon as I'm up north working, but will be back down in Denver with both trucks on Thursday... Does ~6:30-6:45 work for you? I'm still confirming with the others, but this seems like a good time while there is still a little daylight left.
EDIT: Sent you a DM with my number.

That's a good idea... I may utilize this as a backup/additional help and still hopefully get several people.
Do you think it is easier to park the trucks as CLOSE as possible side-by-side or to have a bit of a gap that is big enough for people to stand in there to help lift?

Thanks, but hopefully it will be done by then since the girlfriend and I are headed out on a weekend trip for her birthday.

Sorry, won't be able to make it work this time. Well situation is fixed but company coming tomorrow - hunting partner, we are headed out to Carbondale and scope out what the elk herds migration changes have occurred due to the fires in that area.

Will continue to monitor this for future trips. Have fun, stay safe

I’m starting to get into light/beginner off roading and general trail exploring in my tacoma. Wanted to see if anyone’s out there who wants to meet up to do some exploring along the front range or up I-70.

my truck is stock save for some yoko geolander tires, so I can’t do anything crazy(yet). Just looking to cruise around some dirt/mud/snow, get some off road skills under my belt, and meet some fellow taco enthusiasts.

    Thanks!

You'd be surprised how capable a stock Tacoma is - especially with decent tires.

Yeah, I love what my taco can do. It’s never let me down when I need 4x4. I just wanted to point out my stock setup so no one thinks I have a lifted modded out truck to go crazy with

Give the Ironclads a go. I took my stock Tacoma up there and it did awesome. I did take some easier lines though

Don't drive off-trail and know that you won't make it up the rock they show in the HIGHLIGHTS section. When my friend in a 1st gen 4runner attempted to go up it, he snapped a CV axle AND broke the bolt on one side of his front diff mount to the frame…

I just signed up, thanks for the tip! I want to start off roading more, I just need to find some people to do it with first before I go too crazy.

Hey Brian. I just moved to Denver a couple weeks ago. I’d be down to hit some trails and do some exploring. Let me know next time you go.

I've lived here a bit but just got into off-roading. I'd also be up for meetups!

Absolutely! Maybe we should start a beginner off roading forum for noobs like us that don’t have the skills/equipment to do gnarly off road trails yet haha

Really? I will have to check it out. I just use alltrails. I've done Medano Pass, Devil's Canyon in Idaho Springs. Seems like a lot of good options with moderate trails but not sure how they are this time of year.

So, We like to Joke, we like to joke alot, in here.

FlatIrons is a Mall- thus Mall Crawling.

The white fluffy stuff really puts a dampener on running trails. Want to be careful of trails you choose for snow bashing.
