5th Annual Christmas Tree Build - 2020 Edition

Alright folks. Halloween is over and it's officially November now. As I say every year, I'm a big believer in celebrating Thanksgiving before going all out on Christmas. However, I know some of you like to get an early jump on the holidays.

As always, this is about anything holiday, and whatever holiday means to you....and not just trees. Any kind of decor....trees, indoor, outdoor decorations, pets, kids....even your rig.

I'll keep the thread bumped as a reminder until it gains steam as it always does.

Per the tradition I'll post up a pic of our tree from last year. Our tradition is to put up the tree the day after Thanksgiving. When that happens I'll post it up.



2019

 

Saw a house a couple of neighborhoods over already fully decorated.

 

Well....looks like we're breaking tradition this year. Instead of decor going up the Friday after Thanksgiving....the family wants to do it this weekend. They're reasoning is they want some early holiday cheer with the crappy year it's been. Can't disagree.

Ok....our main tree in the living room.



Stockings were hung on the table with care. We don't have a fireplace.



Cats have to be included, of course.



My 13 year old daughter's little tree in her room. She's had that thing since she was 5 or so.



My 18 year old has 2 trees in her room.





And our tiny little USB tree powered off of the TV.

 

And 2 more....our "family tree" as my wife calls it. It's in our den.

Got a ways to go. The 36’ pvc driveway arch needs to be installed. The front face of the house still needs light strands. Windows need lights. The 4 - 3ft snowflakes need to be installed. The
6 channel light show/sound system needs to be installed and extension cords plugged in.


Did a light check on the
(about the size of a stock sport tire) Giant DIY Clothing Hanger lighted snowflakes
still need to make 2 additional ones.



Still a long way to go.....
