I came a cross as set of 3rd gen TRD Pro Leaf springs for a good deal.

I currently have a 2006 TRD Sport without the leaf TSB and a 1.5 AAL with 5100s. The 5100s are still brand new and will be reusing them. I was wondering if the 3rd gen TRD PRO leafs will bolt right up on a 2nd gen. I will be reusing the AAL as well. I called the dealer but they said it would not work since the part numbers are different but you usually cant trust their input.

    Thanks!

Dunno what year you are working with, but it's at least 10 years newer than your truck. Meaning the PN wouldn't be the same, mostly due to year models, but more likely some tweaks in the packs themselves. Like the newer ones likely have some anti squeak shims, probably have the additional restraint clamps, etc etc.

I'd be shocked if they didn't fit. But some work with a tape measure should verify.

BTW, I don't think there is any difference in leaf packs between the trims in a gen. So 'Pro' isn't getting you anything special. Just so you're not paying a pro price.
