I installed the R4T Lower Control Arm Skid Plates the other day - finally got a chance to get some pictures on the way back from a doctor's appointment. Easy install, well made and color-matched to the Pro skid plate.

And just a picture because I love this truck - my road home every day.

The Overland Gen 2 XL is a little.... BIG on the bed rack. But I wanted it so we could camp with the dog comfortably. The Truss has been GREAT. Only been on the truck a couple of weeks and I've had no less than 5 people ask who makes it. Looks amazing.

Thought that was custom plate at first. Had to look again to make sure it did not say MILF

I had a fuel pump replaced (recall). Took less than 1.5 hours.

This is my snow set, OEM FJ Cruiser steel wheels on 265/70-17 Nokian Hakka R3s.

TBH, I don't love them as much as I had anticipated. Maybe I just need to clean the truck as glaringly clean wheels on an otherwise gross truck doesn't help. Maybe I should have went back to the stock OR wheels on slightly larger tires, or maybe I'll eventually hunt down a set cheap of Sport alloys in the next few years. They seem to trade cheap as they're less desirable than the 3G OR wheels. Whatever happens 5-6 years when I replace these snows, I'll likely go back to a 16" tire and run the TRD OR wheels. The FJ center caps are a PITA.

I still need to pull my bar and put on my tonneau and then swap out my Pro grille / fogs for the OEM stuff for winter.

    Thoughts?

Try different grounding points in the vehicle. Most likely it is ground path related noise.
Also hook up your unit with a separate 12v battery that is not connected to the truck. That will eliminate whether it is on the power side or induced elsewhere.

Question for those that have done the rear breather mod. How much hose do I need to run it to the rear tail light and I believe its 3/8" ID if I'm not mistaken? I'm thinking 8 feet but could be off. Just ordered the union and breather from local dealer that will be here in the morning and will pick up hose after work tomorrow. Thanks

As many as I can fabricate
Or hinge the ladder at the 3rd rung, and have it pivot up and over (close off the "U" shape at the top) and then lay on the rack. LOL.
    The Ladder Build Continues.
    Thanks

I've tried different ground points, but not switching batteries. That would be a good thing to try next. Thanks!
