    @Kappes03 Yep that’s it. Her grandfathers ranch is Winding River Resort. Right up the road. Campground, cabins, chuck wagon meals, hayrides, horseback riding, snowmobiles etc.

    Can anyone recommend a good local shop that they have used/trust for doing alignment after installing of new suspension?

    I don't have firsthand experience with any of these, but I may be due for an alignment soon after I crank the SPC UCAs all the way forward to avoid rubbing these 32's on my mudflaps.

    I went to Staap in Longmont to get an alignment after lift and UCAs. Was told the techs there were familiar with SPC's, and the truck was driving straight afterward. I usually don't frequent the larger shops, but it was right near my office and they seemed to do fine.

    @RockiesTaco or anyone else.

    Any MTB trails down there rideable? I'm making a quick trip to FoCo tomorrow and would like to get a little ride in if possible.

    What kind of trail are you looking for? Most of the hiking trails up here are bikeable

    Haven't been out in a bit but it's been dry and sunny so most of the lower elevation trails that don't get much shade should be fairly dry. Try reservoir ridge or blue sky/rimrock/coyote ridge/devil's backbone. Not much shade but will probably be fairly busy.

    Coyote Ridge, Devil’s Backbone and Blue Sky should be good to go. Horsetooth Mountain looks to still have some snow in the shady spots. Bobcat is closed and I’m not sure about Lory. Damn it, if I wasn’t out of town I’d totally go with you.

    If you ride Coyote, make sure you go back and do Rim Rock loop. You can even connect to Blue Sky and ride over to Devil’s Backbone. Coyote plus Rim Rock is a bit over 7 miles. Not sure how much you’re looking to do.

    Edit: Coyote and Devil’s Backbone have free parking. If you park at Blue Sky trailhead it’s $9 per day to park, unless you have the annual pass.

    Coyote is really chunky on the climb and descent the highest two sections. Across the top is ok. Big stair steps into the valley that are rideable, or hike a bike down and back up on the return. Single track through the valley then the climb to Rim Rock is a bit techy with Rim Rock itself being pretty techy once you get into it.

    Thanks guys!

    So Coyote -> Rim Rock -> Indian Summer clockwise and back down? 7 miles is easy enough.

    Have either of you guys ridden Hewett gulch? I just saw a report that it was clear, and is right on my way. Might try that too.

    Adding Indian Summer will put you about 10.

    Coyote-> Rimrock counterclockwise-> Blue Sky-> Indian Summer either clockwise or counter-> Blue Sky-> back up to Rimrock counter back through to the valley-> up the backside of Coyote and down back to the parking lot at Coyote. The first climb out of the parking lot at Coyote sucks. Just a dirt road. Starts getting better at the cabin/restrooms.

    @Squeaky Penguin

    never ridden Hewett, so can’t help you on that one. If Horsetooth Mountain is good to go you can’t get a better downhill than Wathen.

    I've ridden Hewlett Gulch a few times, it's a fun trail with water crossings and rocky shit.

    Rode coyote to Rimrock. Left out Indian summer on this go. Super busy but can't complain about riding at the end of December.

    I'll have to make it back down when I have more time and you guys can show me around. Wathen looks fun. :D

    Thanks for the info, gents. :cheers:

    Anyone near Ft Collins have a spare 7.5 clamshell drain plug by chance? If no, I'll hit the stealership tomorrow
