All-Pro said they could still make the SoftTopper Pack Rack when I placed an order for one back in July 2017. I followed up with my order after the allowable manufacturing time and they didn’t get to my order yet, but assured they could still make it. A few follow ups later in December 2017 I was told the side rails were damaged and they could no longer build them. So I ended up just having them ship me some rock sliders instead.

Bummer. I tried contacting Tracy @ All-Pro as well and haven’t heard back yet.

Anyone else having similar experiences with them?

I was relieved to have actually received a product. Apparently their customer service went downhill the latter half of last year and they relocated from Montana back to SoCal. They are no longer a vendor on TW and I'm not sure what their current state of business is.

Do you mean these racks were doing damage to the bed sides of the trucks? I was planning on making something similar for myself.

No, I was told the side rail parts of the bed rack that mount to the bed sides were all damaged so they couldn’t piece together a complete rack.

I’m still interested in a rack to fit over a Softopper. I feel the only way to get one is if it’s custom built since the All-Pro product is discontinued. I’d be curious to see the design you come up with.

I couldn't find anything compatible with a tonneau/topper for a reasonable price going into winter last year, so I bought a harbor freight welder and some KB VooDoo adapters and build this out of Home Depot steel. This is the third version. It pops off with 4 bolts and 2 quick disconnects for the lights/3rd brake light, this way I can throw my dirtbike in the bed. I originally designed it just to carry skis, so it doesn't do too well with a lot of weight in the basket off road. I'd like to be able to throw mtbs in the bed, and put coolers/wood up top, so I'm thinking I'll sacrifice the easy removal and buy the standard weld-together pack rack, then just modify my tonneau since I got it for only $80.
