I'm 42... does that make me old or not? I was a fairly early adopter of Roof top tents. My current ARB is about 12 years old and I started a few years before that with them. Back before you saw them on every Tacoma at the mall. I've had calm nights, windy nights, snowy nights, nights at sea level, nights at 14000ft, a thunderstorm right on top of us at Taylor lake at about 11000ft in the San Juan mountains of Colorado. Are they the prefect solution for all times at all places? Not for me. But that's the point. It's all subjective. There is no one perfect setup for any single person, let alone one perfect setup that can be applied to a whole range of people. You choose to camp/travel however you want. Please enjoy your travels and share if you desire.
