Got it! Man it was stubborn as hell. The 3/16" steel I used to make the plates was too thin, so they bent pretty badly as I tightened the nut. I had to shim the back plate with a pair of pry bars to keep it from collapsing, but I got it eventually. @Haun0002 , I don't need your tool anymore, feel free to send it to the next guy in line.

 

Yeeeooow! I just got the bushing and tool in yesterday, looks like its 3/8" plate for the backing. Getting a look at the tool it I feel like its definitely something you can make yourself if you can size the puller accurately. Good on ya.

I have a complete kit that was gifted to me by another member on this forum. I have been dragging on doing the job but I am hoping to get it done this weekend and start a sisterhood of the travelling bushing puller so to speak. Basically who ever can pay for shipping, I will ship it to but I need to get the work done first. I will start another thread at some point for this!

Probably cheaper than purchasing from the states with the covid 19 mark up

@stubbed just got the bearing, but was hoping to maybe borrow the tools instead of having to buy them, will pay for shipping.

Hey guys, I’m in south eastern Ontario. Bumping this thread to see if anyone has the ECGS removal and install tool that they could send me. Will pay for shipping and throw some extra money in! It would be cheaper then buying them.
