    I think I found the source of my clunk. this joint/seal seems to be leaking / torn.

    anyone know what its called so I can replace?

    This is on the driver side taking the pic from underneath the front under by the skid plate.

    tie rod?

    URD short shifter, 285/75/16,
    It’s your sway bar end link. Buy a new pair and replace them both. I believe they’re like 15 bucks each.

    No alignment needed. Beware the cheap sway bar links can wear out in as little as a year.
