Thanks, always try to travel as safe as I can. Studded winter tires, weight, recovery gear, and drive according to the conditions.

    You need some of these:
I just threw on some new winter tires.
    Nokian Hakkapeliitta LT3s Studded.
    285/75/R16

I also painted my stock rims.

From the short drive home, these things are grippy! It honestly felt like I was driving on dry pavement...

What paint did you use on your rims. I need to do mine was thinking of trying plastic dip coating

Dipping is a quick and easy way to do it but it definitely won't last as long.

    I used these:
    Paint and Clearcoat: https://www.canadiantire.ca/en/pdp/dupli-color-wheel-coating-340-g-0477502p.html#srp
    Primer: https://www.canadiantire.ca/en/pdp/dupli-color-sandable-auto-primer-0471012p.html#srp

    Steps:
    1. Clean and degrease
    2. Wet sand 300 grit
    3. Wet sand 600 grit
    4. Primer
    5. Paint
    6. Clearcoat
    7. Let cure for a couple days
    8. Install

I didn't sand between any coats. Hopefully it holds up lol

I have the Studded Nokian LT2 right now, still at 60% Amazing winter tires. I will definitely be buying again when they are done.

Does anyone have a line on a used winch bumper for a 2005-2011 Tacoma?

Hey everyone, I have a friend who just sold his 2nd Gen truck and he pulled a few parts off it. Anyone want a URD intake or a stock flywheel?

Hey again everyone, my friends and I are having small meets at the Certified Radio parking lot on the west end, either Friday or Saturday (sometimes both days). They're small meets as to remain inconspicuous and we need more Tacomas now since two of the guys recently sold theirs. Let me know if you're interested and I'll keep you in the loop.

Glad to see you've joined TW!

I read about your problems on your other thread, it seems likely to me that it's NOT a supercharger rebuild required - I'm at 154000km and the supercharger doesn't need a rebuild, although a rebuild would probably help free up some power so I'm angling to do that soon anyways. I've also been running a significantly smaller pulley for a few years, so I've put a lot of extra rotations on the unit. One thing I have done is replaced the bearings at the rear of the supercharger which is the easiest DIY thing a person can do. Also, regular oil changes on the supercharger are highly recommended - contrary to what the dealership believes (i.e. it is not a closed no-maintenance unit).

About 5 years ago I was having a stumbling issue and I thought it might need a rebuild, turns out it was something else, in any case I phoned around to a few performance shops in the area and no one wanted to touch the unit. You can try phoning around again, at the time I was discouraged because they didn't even want to replace the rear needle bearings (a super easy job even for me). I ended up talking to Jon Bond on the phone and he gave me the sense he knew what he was talking about regarding rebuilds. I figured I would be mailing the unit to him, although once I figured out my issue, I put that on the backburner. Later I found out that guys on the forum prefer http://stiegemeier.com/ since some had trouble with Jon Bond's customer service.

Check out a few of the things at the tips and tricks page below and it will give you some ideas for things to check, like @TodayWasTHeDaY said on your other thread, it could be something as simple as a crack in your bypass valve line.

    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/trd-magnuson-4-0-supercharger-tips-tricks-and-mods.518932/

Also if you'd like to meet in person to discuss things and do some quick checks on your truck, that might be a little easier.
