I shoot both with no issues suppressed out of the MP5-K, Scorpion Evo, and Sig P226. The nice thing is you can tailor the load to work as you need it a bit by adding or lowering the powder charge. What i mean is my 147gr started at 3.5gr and I'd occasionally have a FTF. Bumped it up to 3.7gr (still within published max) and no issue.

This is still sitting on the shelf.
I’m looking for a little underwood 10mm (or similar ) to replace some I shot at critters , or the stated 45 or 44 projectiles , 44 spl brass ,etc

if no interest I’ll probably load then as soon as I get a chance after work and sell the ammo locally ... getting bloodthirsty for 9mm here :spending:

Looking at load data I think I’ll go with 124 grain, I can load them to be subs or super without major variance of powder charge and without having to change bullet weight. Glad to hear the 147’s work well for you!

I also think I’m going to be purchasing an RCBS uniflo from a member of another forum, I just can’t pass this up.

I got 2 lbs of Accurate 2200 today, I almost got IMR 3031 instead but it was $4/lb more than the accurate.
Passed on an 8lb jug of green dot, it was $165 and although I would use it for .38/9mm/.40 I don’t know if I could go through the 8lbs fast enough.

Finally broke out the wet tumbler. Have a Franklin Armory Platinum Series
with the stainless media. Did not use the media since it is just cleaning to resize
then will clean again but still may not use the media as you will soon see.

The brass is a mixture of 9mm, 45 acp and colt, 38 special, 223, 500 smith
and maybe a couple others. Should have separated the larger from smaller since
like anything, the small stuff likes to get inside bigger stuff. o_O

Wish I had taken some before pictures since the brass was pretty dirty. Anyway,
I used warm water with some Lemi-Shine and Dawn. Probably didn't need to do it
as long as I did but ended up running ti 2 hours. Was pleasantly surprised.

Question for you more experienced gents, I’m dry tumbling some brass that has already been sonic cleaned (it’s pretty darn clean), how long should I give it to give a little polish? I’m using corncob media with Cabelas liquid polish additive.

I would think an hour or two would be plenty.

Try 2 hours. If that's enough polish, tumble it for another hour. Actually, if it is really clean, an hour may be enough.

Since you can't hurt anything by tumbling brass for too long, experiment with different times.

I just started using Iosso case polish with my walnut media (from Berry's).

All I can say is WOW - why didn't I start using case polish years ago. My brass looks new when it comes out of the vibratory tumbler.

I was considering going to the wet system with the stainless steel pins, but this polish works so well, I don't think I need to make a change.

I haven't tried this on my .223 brass yet - it gets pretty nasty. But we shall see...

It’s been about 30 minutes so far, I can feel the polish on the case but slight difference in look.
I started it back up and will pull samples at 60:00,90:00 and 120:00
    Tumbled case.

Non-tumbled case on the left, tumbled case on the right.

60:00 down, I think 1 hour is acceptable, 90:00 will probably look good, and I’m not sure how much difference 120:00 will make.
    Un-tumbled, 30:00, 60:00 from left to right.

Ok, 90:00 down, I can’t see any tarnish spots in the brass now, super clean, pretty darn shiny.
