    Hey guys,

So my fiance lost the only key she had to her Mazda. To get a new key made it looks like we would have to have it towed almost 100 miles to the dealership in Albuquerque.
We live in a fairly remote area.

Do you know of other services that would come to you and make a new key?

    Thanks for the input!

Does AAA offer any locksmith services?

Can't a dealer make a key from the VIN?

We were hoping to avoid a costly tow.

I was under the impression that AAA can only duplicate keys

But can't you give a dealer the VIN and have a key made without towing the vehicle? Take the key to the car instead of the car to the dealer? :notsure:

Is it a coded key with the hip in it, if so it will most likely have to go to a shop or the dealer to get programmed

It is the type where you need the vehicle to program the key to it. Wondering if yall knew of a service that could come to you. Didn’t think of AAA for this, i’ll have her give them a call
