Yea my brothers Turbo Silverado got stolen in salt lake a few weeks ago on a Friday night/Saturday morning. He didn’t even know it got stolen since he lives in a condo and found out that Monday when the cops called him. We think they didn’t know how much power the truck Had since they found it on H1 west bound where it hit the zipper lane and deserted. He was just glad they didn’t get to strip the truck.
Every since COVID happened, thieves have been more apparent lately.

How did u score an appt? Currently nothing for next 4 weeks on the on line scheduler.They waived the 30 day alignments requirement, now spec sheets just need to be dated with the year.

 

Was there 2 nights ago(I think). Saw a couple 3rd gens running the trail while we were on the way back from a sunset stroll. The leading truck was blue strobing all his front light bars.

Climbed mokuleia wall last weekend for the first time too. Tons of fun!

 

Anybody have stock lug nuts they don't need? Willing to pay for a set, I need to mount my stocks for recon/safety appt. this Wednesday. Thank you and Happy Thanksgiving!

Finally got my recon today. It was a tag team of 4 workers: 1 did the talking and paperwork, 1 checked my invisible tint on doors / windshield, 1 held a stick to my bumper to check height and then the tires to check if protruded past fender. The 4th came out and put my sticker on.
Less than 10 minutes in person but 5 weeks to get appt.

 

Howzit everyone, I finally placed an order for some FN FX Pro wheels and I should get them delivered by end of Feb. Looking for a reputable shop to install the wheels as well as buy tires to support local business. I heard good things about Mod Industries and recently been seeing posts on MJ motorsports. Dusting from FN wheels has shipped wheels to Auto Customs in the past but has not sent wheels direct to them in a while. Appreciate any recommendations!

 

I brought my wheels and tires to Mod Industries to mount and balance and can definitely recommend them. I've also dealt with Discount Tire Hawaii and Costco and had good experiences.

 

Is there a store on Oahu that would sell a TRD Sport 4x4 decal? I'm looking for preferably all gloss black. I am inquiring in case my order doesn't get to me in time for when I ceramic coat my truck haha

Need help with pressing out a lower control arm ball joint. Control arms are off the truck, have replaced the other three but this last one is really stuck and can't get it out with the impact driver and rental press kit - I've soaked it with penetrating fluid and will try again tomorrow but need a contingency in case I can't break it loose. I have the replacement ball joint, and these are stock control arms. Anyone who either can or has leads would be helpful, mahalo.

 

Did you try hitting the metal with a torch?

 

I have not; don't own one. Kind of don't want to have to buy one either for just one time use; was hoping someone who has access to a press would be able to help out.
