And it's not likely to change in 2021. But, I'm hopeful.

I was making an attempt at being positive. But push comes to shove, I'd bet money on 'not hopeful', while trying to be hopeful, but preparing for the worst.

Since we moved to Texas, and with the possibility of a new president my wife now wants an AR-15.

How did I get so lucky?

My wife and I still have jobs, so that is a plus. And she just got promoted... so I don't see hers changing. Mine, I still have 2 years until retirement. Worst that could happen is major war, or the government decides to not pass a budget again and I am screwed.

I mean, I am in a non-deployable position. But we are on the West Coast in range of a lot of ICBM shit. Its a toss up on what happens in the next 2-4 years.

I am more interested in how they still are below 100k infected with this shit...

I went into 4 Wheel Parts back in August. I happened to drive by their new building over off Davis St in San Leandro. I inquired about a remote control for my Shittybuilt winch. I had heard that there was such an animal. Well, evident, my idea of a remote was different then their idea. In my mind was a wireless remote so that I didn't have to dick around connecting the wire every time I need to use the winch. I thought I had made myself clear. Noit it was on back order so around late September I inquired it was still on back order. Finlay, two days ago I remembered to call again. Well, it seems they have an old number, for which I am to blame for not updating. Thought I had told them back in August. Guess not. Talk to guy on phone. We tired to call you last month. Damn. We can drop ship it do, they said. Great. It shows up yesterday. It's the same stinking remote I have that came with the winch. I don't need that. I thought what I was ordering was an attachment that connected to the winch that allowed for wireless control. Crap. Guy on the phone says that doesn't exist for my winch. So, now I have a remote for winch I am not eligible for a cash refund due to time elapsed since they first tried to contact me. But I am eligible for a store credit, but I'll have to drive down to the Sacto store.

Is there such a thing as a wireless remote for this winch? Smitty 9500 XRC, something like that.

No idea but I wired this into my Engo 3 years ago. Only problem I ever had with it is the battery died in the small remote. I now keep a spare in the rig. Yes, it's cheap. Yes, it's made in China. But so was your winch. lol

The reviews have me skeptical about it. Saw someone say that the winch went off for no reason. I do need this in my life. About to extend the wires from the male prong into my cab. I think that should work right? Without having to move the whole solenoid box?

Holy crap I'm so sick of the human conditioning going down right now. I'll be slapped on the pee pee for this I'm sure.

Local persons from an undisclosed branch of a protective/militant sort of thing told my crew we are headed for certain lock down and will be treated as criminals if we leace our area of work or homes without authorization. Its coming within the next 30 days.
I laughed my ass off and politely reminded him he works for me and all the civilians ofthis country. Also invited this person to go ahead and enjoy his time under the "brown shirt brigade."
Well I'm not very nice it seems. He told me so!
Those of you that have my number I dont mind talking in detail. If I'm booted for a month well, happy Thanksgiving to all!
