    Howdy,

Did a 6 inch lift on a 2011 Tacoma. Put 33x12.5 on 20s. Lift went fine, no issues with rubbing. Drove the truck 3000 miles and did a tire rotation. After the rotation, the right tire rubs on the sway bar in a full left turn. (left tire does not) I checked the sway bar distances from the brackets and they seem equal (ie, no shift). Installed relocation brackets when i did the lift.

There were no rubbing issues before i did the tire rotation...scratching my head on this one. oh, and yes, the tires are all the same size.

Also, removing the sway bar is not an option. Any ideas/suggestions ???

You may have to wait a bit.

Not many fans of your parts combo around here to be able to share experiences that would help.

Maybe 1/10 of 1%. If that.

Could be a lot of them in HI. Maybe post in that regional forum?

I don’t see too many 6” lifts on this forum.
And most people with “bigger” lifts take off the sway bar.

    How bad is it rubbing?
Are all the front end suspension and steering components in good shape?

It’s not too bad, it’s just that it didn’t do it before the tire rotation. It only rubs on a full left turn. It was driven 3000 miles with no issues. I’m beginning to suspect maybe a toe-in shift or some type of alignment issue. Drives straight, though.

I don’t want to remove sway bar due to the fact that this truck is an everyday driver, primarily driven by my son. Would hate to remove a safety feature and have something bad happen.

I too am a fan of the Sway bar.
I say keep them on, unless there is no other option.
Then drive very carefully......I understand your concern there.

I did check the back spacing. I even put the tires/wheels back the way they were before the rotation...still rubs. Strange.
