Hey guys! Has anyone else had the hose that leads to the coolant reservoir leak a very small amount? Just started on my new 2021. Probably just gonna throw a clamp on it, but wondering what everyone else did, or if anyone had the dealership mess with it. Thanks!

Haven't noticed this on my 2020. Also haven't really been looking for it. I'd just throw a hose clamp on it like you mentioned.

Could mention it if you ever go back to the dealer for something else.

It happens with my 2019. I’ve looked at a few of my friends’ third gens and I’ve seen the same thing. Threw a clamp on mine and I haven’t seen any coolant level changes really.

My 2017 the same way since new. Noted the antifreeze level hasn't really dropped any in 4 years so I didn't bother with a clamp. Looks ugly though.

My 2012 4 cyl does the same thing. I put on a zip tie and it seems to be holding well.

My 2018 did this from day one. When you are beating the truck off road it will slash out more (and around the cap). The coolant loss is minuscule.

my '13 does this, other than wiping it off once in a while I don't pay much attention to it.

Thanks everyone! Ended up putting one of these.

    3-Pack 1/2-in Steel Full Clamp

Seems to work well, and don’t have to worry about over tightening like with a normal hose clamp.

This hasn’t happened on my 18 Tacoma yet but it does on my Lexus IS250 and countless other toyota/Lexus models. Normal and nothing to worry about but I suppose you can put a clamp on it.

Simply put this is normal and not really an issue.

I would put a simple zip tie on it and call it a day.
