are the avid sliders bolt on?

 

Looking to buy a spare drive shaft if anyone has one, rather be safe than sorry for my shake down test in the desert on the new build.

 

Not really a common failure if you can’t find one.

 

More paranoid than anything else, but also not sure what all I might be breaking when doing 65 in the desert.

 

What front and rear setup are you running?

 

Kings all the way around, going to figure out how to fab up 3rd gen front bumps to work on the 2nd gen. The rear isn't anything crazy yet, gives me a year or 2 with the current set up to figure out how I want to go about back halfing my truck.

 

That dude posted and ghosted. I PMed him about the sliders, too, and never heard back.

 

I would like to know what requirements are for posting something for sale?

Why the decision to stay s.o.a?

 

Yeah you won’t be going fast enough to worry about your driveshaft. At least not through the rough stuff. No offense, the front is a good start, but that rear setup will be a major limiting factor

Edit: don’t worry about the front bumps. Just run some wheelers superbumps

 

I planned this build in phases because I didn't want the truck to be blown apart for months, or probably years. It would always be in the way in the side business and I'd be less inclined to finish it without all the cash in hand. This gives me time to plan out the back half/4 link, shop around for the tube bender and quadruple check parts I'll be buying while still able to drive the back up vehicle once or twice a month.
