How do you like it? Like how was the install and how much of a difference did you notice with Second Skin?

It was pretty easy. Just time consuming. I also did MLV, but not from Second Skin. Wish I was motivated enough to drop the headliner to do the roof but was more work than I wanted to do at the time. My doors are very solid. Don't forget to add some sound deadening to your license plate so you don't get a rattling plate.

Totally worth it to add sound deadening and soundproofing on top of the deadening. It is time consuming, but easy to do yourself, even after the speaker install. I have done my doors and rear cab wall and rear floor forward to the tool box (Including the interior of the tool boxes). It made an unbelievable difference to cab noise and sound quality. The tool box area is totally exposed and a major source of noise, so don't forget that part. I followed the guidance of Jesse Rizzo, and purchased Noico on Amazon. It was far cheaper than DynaMat, and just as good as quality. The sound proofing on top of the sound deadening is well worth the extra expense and effort as well. Some day I will do the rest of the floor and roof of the truck, but even without this done, the cab is incredibly quiet. Total cost of materials was $160 and it took me about six hours to complete.

Did this the other day. Did a second layer paling the bottom ribs and center brace. Single layer up top as it’s pretty solid. Held off almost a year before pulling the trigger knowing it would sound better... just lazy LOL

Bass is so much tighter and cleaner sounding. Also it cuts transference of vibration so some of the miscellaneous vibrations around the cab stop also.
