    It is only closed on Christmas day. Check this link for hours and fees: https://www.ncparks.gov/fort-fisher-state-recreation-area/feesfaqsrules

    The annual pass is totally worth the money if you plan to go more than a couple times a year. It is $90 vs $20/$30 for a day pass during the week or weekend. Unfortunately its a Jan 1- Dec 31 pass so it probably isn't worth it for you to buy it with just one month left. The 2021 passes should be available soon. More info here: https://www.ncparks.gov/annual-pass-program

    @KILLINTIME
    Gots me some new pawts.
    Thinking of removing snorkel and getting a lighter, more prerunner bumper now. I'm wanting gears bad, the truck is becoming cumbersome to drive with the weight and stock gears on 34s. That and I just replaced 5100s/omes with some fox 2.5 resis and it rides nicer up front but those dakars out back gotta go. Anyone got any recommendations? Allpro standards seem like my best bet, wanting something soft but still 3 inches.

    They do amazing with weight I have to admit, but I haul air 99% of the time. I feel no quality of rear shock with make up for firmness of dakars. I am leaning towards a 10 inch and relocation just because.

    I took out my second overload spring and that helped a lot. And also lowered it about .5” They really soak up the bumps good and have awesome flex I just get tired of them squeaking. I need to put bicycle tube rubber between the leafs.

    I'm thinking about switching to Deavers along Archive Garage shock relocate and leaf spring hangers. Get more travel and a better ride on the rear and staying about 3".

    Heads up, the 2021 annual NC Parks pass that gets you access to Fort Fisher 4WD beach is now for sale. It is $150 for the year. Used to be included with the rest of the parks under the $90 pass but they've made it an add-on. Can only be purchased at the office by the entrance. More info here: https://www.ncparks.gov/annual-pass-program

    Y'all should read up on the history of that place. Kinda shitty from what I've read.

    Maybe it's Freeman Park... I don't remember
